UC Riverside’s Reza Aslan Calls Bret Stephens a ‘White Nationalist’ on Twitter

UC Riverside professor Reza Aslan’s greatest (meaning lowest) Twitter hits continue. In January, Aslan incited violence against Covington high school student Nick Sandmann by tweeting about his “punchable face.” Now he’s labeling Never Trumper Bret Stephens a “white nationalist” for a New York Times column criticizing Democratic presidential candidates’ extreme views on illegal immigration.

As American Greatness columnist Julie Kelly put it, Aslan “dogged Stephens on Twitter for hours, mocking the writer for '[jumping] out of the white nationalist closet.’” Clearly, the professor needs a new hobby.
