Thursday, October 6, 2022
2:00-3:30 PM EDT
Please join Campus Watch director Winfield Myers in a virtual panel discussing an important new study, Hijacked: The Capture of America’s Middle East Studies Centers.
Sponsored by the National Association of Scholars and written by its senior research associate Neetu Arnold, Hijacked traces the history of seven key federally funded Middle East/Islamic studies centers and “uncovers trends in what these centers have promoted over the past 20 years.”
Myers will be joined on the panel by Arnold and by Martin Kramer, former Middle East Quarterly editor and the Stern Fellow at the Washington Institute for Near East Policy.
