Barnard Prof Nadia Abu El Haj Admits BDS Targets ‘Individual Scholars’

BDS movement co-founder Omar Barghouti has long claimed that the academic boycott of Israel “targets institutions, not individuals.” But Barnard College professor Nada Abu El Haj admitted to a pro-BDS panel at the recent Modern Language Association (MLA) convention, “Yes, there will be a small price that individual scholars will have to pay. That is the point.”
