BU Professor To Be Honored [on Richard Antoun]

The life of professor Richard Antoun will be honored by his university more than two months after he was stabbed to death in his on-campus office.

The Binghamton University anthropology professor will be honored during a ceremony on February 26th, at BU’s Anderson Center Chamber Hall. University officials say it will be a celebration dedicated to a scholar who attempted to promote global understanding.

Abdulsalam Al-Zahrani, the BU graduate student accused of killing Antoun, pleaded not guilty and is awaiting trial.
