Northwestern Law professor Steven Lubet has uncovered that the cancellation of the Edward Said professorship search at Fresno State last year was due to internecine faculty politics, not the racist meddling of Zionists that the Middle East Studies Association (MESA) and a host of anti-Israel professors and groups charged at the time.
