CW’s Response to MESA’s Zachary Lockman: Stop Ignoring Omar Barghouti’s Terror Ties

CW Fellow A.J. Caschetta’s History News Network article taking the Middle East Studies Association (MESA) to task for defending terror-tied BDS leader Omar Barghouti has already elicited a reaction.

In his response, New York University professor and former MESA president Zachary Lockman---now chair of MESA’s Committee on Academic Freedom---side-stepped Barghouti’s terrorist ties, while attempting to smear Caschetta through his association with Campus Watch.

Now Caschetta is challenging Lockman and by extension, MESA to have the courage and integrity to address his points.
