Reza Aslan Thinks a Muslim TV Show Will Combat ‘Islamophobia’

UC Riverside professor Reza Aslan thinks a Muslim-themed TV show will combat American “Islamophobia” the way TV’s gay characters led to a wider acceptance of homosexuality. But gays aren’t killing non-gays worldwide. He pretends terrorism and sharia don’t breed distrust towards Islam, yet Canadian (“Little Mosque on the Prairie”) and American (“All-American Muslim”) TV shows failed to achieve what Islamists sought: indifference to global jihad.
