Last year the Middle East Forum launched the local fight against Islamism with their newest project Counter-Islamism Grid (CIG).
As the saying goes, ‘all news is local.’ But in the local context, Islamists prosper in obscurity. To meet this challenge, CIG has been diligently coordinating research, writing and activism through a network of researcher-activist associates across North America from Philadelphia to San Diego, to oppose Islamist ideas, individuals and organizations.
