Projects

CAMPUS WATCH, a project of the Middle East Forum, reviews and critiques Middle East studies in North America with an aim to improving them. The project mainly addresses five problems: analytical failures, the mixing of politics with scholarship, intolerance of alternative views, apologetics, and the abuse of power over students. Campus Watch fully respects the freedom of speech of those it debates while insisting on its own freedom to comment on their words and deeds.
Launched in 2006, Islamist Watch is a project of the Middle East Forum. We work to combat the ideas and institutions of lawful Islamism in the United States and throughout the West. Arguing that “radical Islam is the problem, moderate Islam is the solution,” we seek to expose the Islamist organizations that currently dominate the debate, while identifying and promoting the work of moderate Muslims.
The Israel Victory Project steers U.S. and Israeli policy toward backing an Israel victory over the Palestinians to end the conflict by convincing the Palestinians of their defeat in their century-long war against Israel. The project offers general policy guidelines does not deal with the specifics of resolution; whatever one’s ideas about final status, Palestinian defeat enhances their prospects. Our motto: First recognition, then negotiation. First victory, then peace.
The Red Sea Security Initiative (RSSI) is a pioneering effort spearheaded by the Middle East Forum to combat the rising threats posed by Houthi aggression in the Red Sea and Gulf of Aden. These critical maritime corridors are vital for global trade and energy supplies but face increasing risks from Houthi operations, including attacks on shipping lanes, arms smuggling, and the disruption of energy flows.
